Ready to tutor? Need more information?
WE’RE HERE FOR YOU!
Looking for Tutoring or Test Prep?
Contact your dedicated POC, our Parent Outreach Coordinator, Sheena Martin. It’s best to speak one-on-one so she can learn more about your student’s unique needs.
Call us at 202-810-2003 or Schedule a Consultation.
You’re also welcome to use our contact box to explain your needs and leave a contact number. We promise to get back to you within one business day. If you’re busy, we can ascertain your needs via an email exchange.
Then…
Sheena will answer any questions and, based on your student’s goals and personality, match him or her with one of our experienced tutors.
Your tutor will email you within 24 hours of your match to arrange a first meeting, usually within the week.
At the first session, your tutor will discuss your objectives and create a plan of action to improve an individual student’s skills. Tutoring can continue (usually on a weekly basis) for as long as a student needs it. You will receive an email report after each session.
Where Do We Tutor?
At a location that works for you.
ONLINE
Tutoring online offers the convenience of receiving quality services without leaving the comfort of your own home. It also enables us to serve our growing number of families living outside the Washington DC metro area. Students tutored online continue to improve grades and test scores at the same rate as students tutored in-person.
Your tutor will provide a video conference meeting link by email.
YOUR HOME
Our tutor will come to your home. We only ask that you provide a quiet, public place in your home for tutoring and that a parent or other adult be present. Tutors are unable to tutor in students’ bedrooms or behind closed doors. In-home tutoring is available to families residing in Washington, DC, Maryland, and northern Virginia communities near the District of Columbia. If you would like in-home tutoring and do not live in these areas, please contact us.
YOUR SCHOOL
We partner with some schools to offer on-campus tutoring in Washington. Our Parent Outreach Coordinator can speak to you about your in-school options.
OTHER LOCATIONS
Many of our tutors are willing to meet with students at local libraries, coffee shops, and other convenient public locations.
